But Lili’s path into functional medicine is also deeply personal.
Growing up in Bulgaria, she spent countless hours in her mother’s compounding pharmacy, learning about herbs, homeopathy, and traditional remedies. These early experiences rooted her belief in the body’s ability to heal naturally. Yet years later, her own health began to decline. A poor diet, chronic stress, hidden infections, toxic exposures, and unhealthy relationships eventually led to a serious autoimmune condition that left her body in collapse. She sought help from over 20 doctors, but none could provide the answers she desperately needed.
Determined to heal, Lili returned to school to study nutrition and applied functional medicine. “The autoimmune condition was a blessing in disguise,” she says. “It forced me to go back to basics—and that’s where I found healing.” Over time, she was able to reverse her condition, come off all medications, and rebuild her health from the ground up. At ResCore Clinic, she found a home where she can help thousands of people do the same—from the ground up.
